Stiefel E-Plus Pellets

Stiefel E-Plus Pellets can be given in case of a feed-related deficiency of vitamin E and selenium, which can lead to impaired performance, condition and resilience. Vitamin E, also known as tocopherol, is a fat-soluble vitamin that functions as an antioxidant. Vitamin E therefore protects the cells from aggressive substances and prevents their destruction. Vitamin E also improves oxygen supply to the muscles and therefore increases performance. Hence, Vitamin E should always be given in sufficient quantities during sports and high-intensity performance. A lack of vitamin E can lead to a drop in performance, muscle problems and tension. Selenium is an essential trace element and is required in small quantities for important metabolic processes. Selenium is also a component of various enzymes and plays an important role in protecting cell membranes from oxidative destruction and in cell metabolism.

Feeding recommendation:
Horses (600 kg bw): 50 g/day
Small horses: 25 g/day
(1 heaped measuring scoop = approx. 25 g)

Due to its higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed, the maximum amount of this supplement should not exceed 300 g per day.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use up quickly after opening. Keep out of the reach of small children.
