Stiefel Mag Plus Powder

Stiefel MAG Plus Powder - a combination of magnesium, vitamin E and vitamin B12 that can reduce stress reactions in horses. A stressed horse requires large amounts of magnesium as magnesium can normalise the increased cardiac activity as a calcium inhibitor. Magnesium is also excreted in large amounts when stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline are released. As the stress level in the horse increases, the consumption and therefore the need for magnesium also increases. A magnesium deficiency can further intensify the effects of stress.

Vitamin B12 can have a strengthening effect on the nerves and promote concentration.

Vitamin E can improve oxygen supply to the muscles and thus increase performance. A lack of vitamin E can lead to a drop in performance, muscle problems and tension.

Feeding recommendation:
Horses (600 kg bw): 25 g daily
Small horses: 12 g daily
1 measuring spoon = approx. 25 g.
Recommended feeding duration: 2 to 4 weeks
